Availability (Capacity) in March 2018

Our Legal Info Line is now up and running and operates from 9.30am to 11.30am Monday to Thursday.  If the Info Line is busy, we will take your details and book you in for a call-back appointment which will take 20-30 minutes.

Our Legal Clinics (for family law financial advice from our private solicitor volunteers) are also now up and running although demand for the service is currently greater than the number of appointments we have available.

As at March 2018, there is a (roughly) 10 day wait for new client appointments with one of our lawyers although urgent matters will be prioritised and we will do our best to accommodate women with urgent matters.

So far this year we have experienced a higher than usual number of women seeking legal assistance and are doing the best with the limited resources we have to assist and to not turn women in need of help away.  We rely on the assistance of our volunteer law students and lawyers who give up their time to help us meet the demand.

We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Thank you

We are a not for profit community legal centre servicing the whole of Western Australia. We receive hundreds of calls each day.  We understand it can sometimes be difficult to get through.  If you can't get through to speak to someone, please be patient and keep trying.  Sometimes you can resolve your issue by using our website and online resources under the heading 'legal information'.  You might also like to download the Refocus app for your smartphone (available from the App Store or Play Store).

Our Client Service Line is open Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm.

If our Info Line is busy, we will book you in for a call-back appointment.

Outside these times, please call us on 9272 8800 (metro callers) or 1800 625 122 (free call for country callers) to make an appointment for legal advice.
